Voice control for bakery ovens: the future that's already on the floor

At iba 2025, MIWE unveiled voicebot — a voice-control system for bakery ovens. The baker speaks the command, the oven executes: start a program, change temperature, fire the steam injection.
Why does it matter? A bakery is a loud, hot environment. Operators frequently have both hands occupied. Voice control cuts input errors: no reaching for a panel with wet or flour-covered hands, no memorizing program numbers.

Voicebot is one piece of the MIWE Future Lab ecosystem — the full package adds an autonomous baking center with a cobot and floor-level conveyor. But the voice interface can be deployed standalone: it runs on existing MIWE condo and MIWE roll-in ovens without any robotics upgrade.

MIWE supply has gotten tight for plants in Belarus and Russia. You can get most of the same ergonomic benefit from ovens with modern touchscreen HMIs and well-designed menu logic — lower training bar for new hires, less skill dependency on the operator.

Rokintekhinvest's in-house tunnel ovens ship with electronic control panels that store recipes and lock in batch-to-batch reproducibility.
