Modern food processing is virtually inconceivable without blast (shock) freezing — it preserves the appearance and nutritional quality of a wide range of products. Among available technologies, spiral blast freezers offer the best combination of throughput, efficiency, energy consumption, and ergonomics.
The equipment is broadly versatile and handles berries, fruits, vegetables, meat, fish, confectionery, bakery pre-forms, and semi-finished products. The chamber itself combines a refrigeration system with a spiral conveyor. The belt travels along a spiral path; high-capacity screw or reciprocating compressors deliver efficient cooling and freezing. Wall thickness is scaled to the design temperature; product feed can be manual or automatic.

Engineering features
Each freezer is designed to the specific requirements of the end user — circular or oval, with infeed and discharge at different elevations, with multiple independent belts on a single drum. Belt construction varies to suit product size, whether loose-loaded (IQF) or packaged
Evaporators inside the chamber are project-specific, sized for maximum throughput and efficiency. Compressors may be equipped with sectional hot-gas defrost — essential for large plants, as it enables continuous freezing without line stops

Technology must be simple and reliable — only then does it deliver real savings in energy and resource use. Our conveying system uses a stainless-steel structure with easily replaceable plastic wearing guides, allowing fast maintenance and fast restart of production.
